Who will be Serena's Second Pokemon

Serena, a new companion and pokemon trainer who first met Ash in Kanto before they both became trainers on their journey. Right now she only has one pokemon and there is no telling who her second pokemon will be and when she will catch it. Hopefully in time before the season ends. So who will it be?

Raquaza

Raquaza is the legendary Sky High dragon Pokemon of all species in the Pokemon World and is one of the weather/planet Earth pokemon trio in the Hoenn Region



The dragon lives in the ozone layer, feeds on water particles in the sky and decends only if it wants to rest or if its fellow weather/planet earth pokemon Groudon and Kyogre engage in combat.

Raquaza's depiction is seemingly influenced by the Aztec god Quetzalcoatl.



Raquaza is found on top of the Sky Pillar in th Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald versions of Pokemon games.

Pokemon X and Y welcomes its latest addition, Diancie, and a special ‘omake’

The Pokédex is expanding!

On Friday, Nintendo Co. Ltd. and The Pokémon Company International formally announced that the Fairy-Rock type Diancie will be the 719th Pokémon to be added to the ever-expanding (fingers crossed) Pokédex.

Diancie will also be making an appearance in the upcoming animated film The Cocoon of Destruction and Diancie, which will be released in Japan theatres later this year.

“Diancie is an extremely rare Mythical Pokémon, a special Pokémon that cannot be found during normal gameplay,” The Pokémon company said in a press release.

According to the release, Diancie boasts the greatest beauty in the Pokémon world with a body that glitters pink to “captivate the hearts of many”. As well, Diancie can produce diamonds by simply compressing the air between its hands. This ability allows her to attack enemies and simultaneously ruin the Swiss economy.

Details on how players can get their own Diancie have yet to be revealed, but many hope that the mythical creature will become available through the game’s Mystery Gift option.

Vivillon is the evolved form of Scatterbug and the best and most interesting fact about this pokemon is the many amount of wing patterns it has depending on the real world geographic location it's in.
