While the Pokemon franchise continues onward, there are some speculations that the 6th Generation of Pokemon (in the Kalos region) may be the last generation of Pokemon for the world to see because of the numerous amount of Pokemon and species that we've seen so far including the species of Legendary Pokemon that are based on the planet earth, reality, yin and yang, and now life and death, it seems that the franchise is almost at its peak.
